Requesting Letters of Recommendation
Given the volume of requests, students wishing to request a letter of recommendation need to email me at gprwall[at]uw[dot]edu with the following.
- Requests must be sent at least two weeks, but preferably one month or more, before the deadline.
- The course(s) you took with me, or other capacity in which I can write a letter on your behalf.
- Updated CV.
- Unofficial transcript.
- Overview of the main details of the relevant program/position to which you are applying. This should include the deadline and how the letter should be submitted (e.g. mail, email, website).
- Your personal statement/cover letter for the application, or a brief summary of your interests, experiences, and/or skills that make you well-suited for the program/position.
